With Guru Sahib’s blessings and the unwavering support of the Sangat, Gurdwara Gur Gyan Prakash is expanding to better serve our community. We are embarking on a new building project to accommodate growing needs, provide enhanced facilities, and create a spiritual and educational hub for generations to come.

The tradition of Daswandh (giving one-tenth of one’s earnings) has been an integral part of Sikh practice since the time of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Guru Arjan Dev Ji institutionalized Daswandh as a formal system to support the development of the Sikh community. Under his leadership, Sikhs voluntarily contributed a portion of their earnings to fund the construction of Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) and other community service projects.
Guru Ji taught that Daswandh is not just an act of charity but an offering to the Guru, ensuring that the Panth thrives and Sikhs remain connected to Seva. By contributing to this new building, you are following in the footsteps of those who supported Guru Sahib’s mission centuries ago.
